For more than 80 years, the legendary summer music program of Brevard Music Center has trained prodigious young musicians, and paired them on stage with gifted faculty and some of the most celebrated classical talents in the world for weeks of sublime music.
Keith Lockhart guides this next generation of great musicians as the Artistic Director. Lockhart, who attended Brevard Music Center as a teenager, knows firsthand just how far a Brevard Music Center education can take a person: today he is the conductor of both the venerable Boston Pops and BBC Concert Orchestras.
