Hendersonville Community Theatre Presents Nuncrackers

Join those zany Nunsense nuns as they return to Hendersonville Community Theatre with a fun, family-friendly, seasonal good time. Dan Goggin’s Nuncrackers: The Christmas Nunsense Musical features the silly sister in heavenly performances now through December 16.

Nuncrackers: The Christmas Nunsense Musical tells the story of the Nunsense Sisters: Sister Mary Regina, Sister Mary Hubert, Sister Robert Anne, Sister Mary Paul and Sister Mary Leo, along with Father Virgil. The Sisters join with some of Mt. Saint Helens’ most talented students as they work to produce the first Christmas Special taped in the convent’s new basement cable access television studio.

With brand new songs, including “Twelve Days Prior to Christmas,” “Santa Ain’t Comin’ to Our House,” “We Three Kings of Orient Are Us” and “It’s Better to Give than to Receive,” this show is filled with typical Nunsense humor, your favorite holiday carols, a “Secret Santa” audience participation, as well as an uproarious take on Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker ballet. Nuncrackers will make the audience laugh and tug at their heartstrings.

Showtimes are 7:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:00 pm Sundays. Nuncrackers is rated family-friendly; however, it does have a few mildly naughty double entendres. Tickets are available online at HendersonvilleTheatre.org or by calling the Box Office at (828) 692-1082.
