LoveHendo Saturdays Continues This Saturday

Downtown Hendersonville will be bustling with energy on Saturday, December 4, with a multitude of events and outdoor activity for the entire family to enjoy, including Tails in Town!

LoveHendo Saturday welcomes the community to experience downtown while still practicing a safe social distance with outdoor shopping and entertainment. LoveHendo Saturdays take place the Second Saturday of each month, May – December, except for September. Each Saturday will host a different theme or partnering event.

Nearly a year and a half ago, Covid-19 and broad closures created uncertainty for downtown businesses, but the Hendersonville community stepped up to support each other and local businesses with the LoveHendo movement to support local businesses in Henderson County. Now, downtown Hendersonville continues to offer the best amenities for outdoor dining and activities for all ages.

All day on Saturday, November 13, Main Street will be closed to vehicles from 1st Avenue to 6th Avenue. The cross streets will remain open for vehicles to traverse to the unique avenue businesses and the abundant downtown parking available just a short walk from Main Street.

Handicap parking is available at the courthouse square and at the city hall lot on 6th Avenue. Public restrooms are conveniently located at the Visitors Center on the south end of Main and at 125 5th Avenue on the northern end.

LoveHendo Saturday is an open street activity taking place the Second Saturday of each month May – December (except for September) to provide a unique downtown experience for all ages. Downtown businesses may expand into the street to provide open air activity and experiences. LoveHendo Saturday partners up with several downtown events..
