Hendersonville

Henderson County will launch an Independence Day fireworks display at sundown from South Grove Street on Thursday, July 4, 2019. The fireworks can be viewed throughout downtown Hendersonville as well as the south side of town; if you’re able to see the “Big Red Balloon” that goes up during the day then you’ll have a good view for the fireworks!

The afternoon parade begins at 11:00 am and will take over Main Street. The evening celebration will kick off at 6:00 pm with activities and music in front of the Historic Courthouse on Main Street. Izzi Hughes and Cole Jenkins will play a pre-concert show starting at 6:00 pm, followed by a patriotic tribute and Wishful Thinkin’ performing from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.  Admission is free!

Brevard

The street festival runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in downtown Brevard. From there the party continues at Brevard College with the Transylvania Community Art Council’s Duck Race for Kreative Kids on King’s Creek at 6:00 pm, as well as food, family time and celebration while awaiting the grand finale of the day, the Fireworks Extravaganza! Fireworks begin around 9:15 pm.
