The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Park Ridge Health

Serving Henderson county and surrounding communities for over 100 years, Park Ridge Health offers high-quality, patient-centered care in a faith-based environment. The main campus includes a 103-bed hospital facility where inpatients and outpatients can choose a variety of services.

Carolinas Poison Center

The Carolinas Poison Center is designated as the official state poison center for North Carolina. We are a not-for-profit telephone resource center of poisoning information, staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by registered nurses who are uniquely trained to provide diagnostic and treatment advice for acute and chronic poisonings to the public and healthcare providers.

Drug Help Line

Also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service, this helpline provides 24-hour free and confidential treatment referral and information about mental and/or substance use disorders, prevention, and recovery in English and Spanish.

Pardee Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital that was founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. We are licensed for 222 acute care beds and are the second-largest employer in Henderson County.
