New lending in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is scheduled to end on August 8, 2020. Mountain BizWorks is currently accepting and processing applications on a limited basis for WNC small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. SBA will forgive loans if all employee retention criteria are met, and the funds are used for eligible expenses. Click here to read more about PPP loan forgiveness.
Applications must be submitted by Monday, August 3, to ensure your request can be processed prior to the approval deadline.
Interested businesses should contact Michael Lane, Small Business Lender, at [email protected], and organize the following information:
- Filled out borrower application form 2483 (Download the fillable PDF form)
- Copy of your 2019 Tax Returns or 2019 Quarterly 941’s
- Copy of your ID
