Health and Public Service open house set
SPINDALE (June 26, 2019) – Isothermal’s Health and Public Services Department will have an open house to highlight its wide variety of offerings soon.
The open house is set for Thursday, July 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Health and Public Services Building is centrally located on campus between the Business Sciences Building and the Communications Building. It has recently undergone some renovations with the addition of a new HVAC system and some programming changes with the Applied Sciences Department moving to the new Engineering Technologies and Workforce Development Center.
“We want to shout from the rooftops about all of the great things we have going on in Health and Public Services,” said Ava Yamouti, dean of the division.
In addition to a tour of the facility, attendees at the open house can find more information on:
• Basic Law Enforcement Training
• Cosmetology: Hair, Nail Manicuring, Esthetics (skin care)
• Criminal Justice
• Dental Assisting
• Early Childhood and School Age Education
• Human Services
• Practical Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing
