The Trolley Company is proud to announce a new addition to their famous Historic Tours. Mary Jo Padgett, journalist, editor, and creator of Paris’s American Revolutionary, will lead a ninety minute tour every Saturday in October.
Enjoy a fun and informative look at the history of Hendersonville and not a “dusty ole dates” tour. Jam-packed with historical tidbits, oddities and pure fun, you’ll see city and regional sites such as the Historic Courthouse Heritage Museum, Curb Market, Flat Rock Playhouse, Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, the Historic Residential District and more.
The walk starts at 10:00 am on Saturday morning. Adult tickets are $10 and children are free one per paying adult. Participants are to meet Mary Jo at Once Upon A Sign located at 142 E. 3rd Ave at 9:30 am to register. For reservations please call 828-545-3179.
