Miller’s Drycleaning Celebrates 100th Anniversary by Giving Back

This year marks the 100th anniversary for Millers Fine Drycleaning. To celebrate, Millers is continuing the tradition of giving back to the community.

In June, Miller’s implemented two different promotions, one giving back to customers and one giving back to non-profits in Henderson County.

The promotion for customers is a drawing for a year’s worth of free dry cleaning. To enter, customers complete an entry form at either Miller’s location. One winner will be drawn from all entries in December 2015. The winner is eligible for up to $1,200.00 in free dry cleaning to be redeemed in 2016.

For the community promotion, Miller’s is giving $500 each month (June – November) to a nominated Henderson County non-profit. To vote, add Miller’s Fine Drycleaning as a friend on Facebook and follow the instructions on how to nominate. Miller’s will close the campaign at the end of each month and choose the charity that received the most posts during the month. The charity must be a registered 501(c)3 in Henderson County, North Carolina. A charity can only win one time.

The non-profit nominated the most in July and the winner of the second $500 prize is the Sgt. S. Matthew Baynard Foundation.

The Sgt. S. Matthew Baynard Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of amateur athletics by providing shoes, equipment scholarships and mentoring to young athletes in our community.

Matthew was a loving father, husband and dedicated soldier. Always active in athletics, he planned to move back to Western NC, get a degree in Personal Training, and open his own gym. He passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2012 from complications of injuries he had suffered while on deployment. More information on the foundation can be found at SgtSMBfoundation.com.

Miller’s Drycleaning is located at 423 N. King Street with a second location at 1620 Brevard Road. Visit millerscleaners.com for additional information.
