Hendersonville’s Rhythm & Brews Concert on June 18th

There are a lot of great things about Hendersonville’s Rhythm & Brews Concert Series. There’s great music and great locally-made beverages, but the one element that has really begun to stand out is that it’s the best community social event in town!

Whether you are the oldest member of our community or the youngest, the event caters to you with everything from reserved seating areas to HandsOn Kid Zone. Worried about a warm day…don’t, Pardee Hopital’s misting tent will help keep you cool. If you haven’t been, you’ve got to check it out!

The concert series will once again take place in the Azalea Parking Lot adjacent to King Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues in downtown Hendersonville.

The shows, which run through September and take place on the third Thursday of each month.

Show times begin at 5:00 pm with our singer-songwriter showcase, followed by our Opening Act at 6:00 pm and Headliners at 7:00 pm. June’s show features Dave Desmelik in our Singer-Songwriter spot, Empire Strikes Brass in the Opening slot and The Fritz in our Headliner spot @ 7:00 pm.

The Fritz is a five piece rock band that likes to get funky. This band takes its songwriting very seriously, but takes its improvisation just as seriously: carefully weaving into each composition the personality of the band and the crowd. While their music may range from hard driving soul to progressive rock, there is always a common thread of passionate energy. Whether live or in the studio, The Fritz continues to create an energetic dance party every time.

In March of 2013, The Fritz released their second studio effort “Bootstrap”. The album is a collection of songs the band wrote over the past 4 years while traveling the Southeast, steadily building a reputation as a live act not to be missed.
