A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Flat Rock Playhouse presents A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum through October 26th.

First produced on Broadway in 1962 starring Zero Mostel, and revived later in 1996 starring Nathan Lane, this broad and entertaining musical farce follows the path of the Roman slave, Pseudolus, on his long, convoluted and ultimately hilarious path to freedom.

The original Broadway production and film was created by the legendary Stephen Sondheim and Larry Gelbart (creator of television’s long running hit, M*A*S*H). Reprising his role of the nervous Hysterium, we welcome back our own Scott Treadway.
