Hendersonville Toy Company Receives Over $25,000 From Community Investors

After announcing plans last month to open a brick and mortar location in the Historic Seventh Avenue District of downtown Hendersonville, Hendersonville Toy Company is well on their way after a successful crowd investing campaign through the online platform Mainvest.com.

Hendersonville Toy Company launched their Mainvest campaign in September of this year and was able to raise $26,700 in investments in a short 8-week period. Investors could put in as little as $100 and anticipate returns from 1.5x to 1.75x their investment that will be paid quarterly based on Hendersonville Toy Company’s revenues.

Mainvest is designed to help small businesses access needed capital funds while also being able to provide returns directly to their community. “We are beyond thrilled to bring Hendersonville Toy Company to life and we could not be more thankful to those who chose to invest with us during this Mainvest campaign,” said Lyndsey Simpson, CEO and co-owner. “This would not be possible without their support.”

Hendersonville Toy Company plans to host numerous Pop-Up Shops through the end of this year while working on securing additional funding for the permanent location. Locations and details of these Pop-Up Shops can be found on the store’s website at www.HVLToyCompany.com and their Facebook page (@HVLToyCompany). Online shopping will also be available this season and will be announced later this month.

“We will be more than your average toy store,” said Tony Simpson, General Manager and co-owner. “We are excited to bring this concept to Hendersonville and provide a fun & exciting environment for children & their families to shop.”

With a wide variety of unique toys, games, books and more, the store will bring joy to both the young and young-at-heart. Hendersonville Toy Company is your place to play, celebrate & imagine and will also include an event space that will be available for birthday parties, baby showers, family gatherings, business meetings, homeschool groups and more.
