Volunteers to Provide Hands-On Support for Local Nonprofits This Friday and Saturday

Four hundred local volunteers will tackle 34 projects at nonprofit locations throughout Henderson County on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14.

Days of Caring, presented by United Way of Henderson County, is an annual opportunity for volunteers to provide hands-on support by engaging in activities that range from sanding & painting, gardening & mulching, repair & maintenance, to collecting and sorting food donations for local pantries.

The volunteer effort will take place on Friday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

After projects are completed on Friday, May 13, volunteers are invited to attend an afternoon celebration at Southern Appalachian Brewery from 4-6 p.m.
