Brother Wolf to Offer Puppygrams on Valentine’s Day

Back by “pup-ular” demand, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is offering puppygrams on Valentine’s Day this year!

With an option of a $75 or $100 donation to support local shelter pets, the nonprofit animal shelter will send puppies to homes and businesses in the Asheville area on Friday, February 14.

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue puppy volunteers will visit recipients’ workplaces or homes with an adorable, adoptable puppy. The recipient gets 15 minutes to play, snuggle, post selfies, and get some puppy kisses. Depending on which option the gifter chooses, the Puppygram can also include a cupcake, a mini succulent plant, a dozen roses, or a handwritten card.

All of the puppies will be available for adoption. Brother Wolf has seen several happy matches made through this event over the past several years that the nonprofit has been delivering Valentine’s Day Puppygrams.

“It’s one of our volunteers’ favorite events,” says Volunteer Engagement Manager Heathcliff Addams. “The best part is you can send a puppy to anyone!” Addams notes, “Colleagues can go in together & order a Puppygram just to have a puppy come visit their office as a treat on Valentine’s Day.”

Puppygram orders must be placed by midnight on Wednesday, February 12, through Brother Wolf Animal Rescue’s website www.bwar.org. The recipient’s location or workplace must be within 15 miles of the Brother Wolf Animal Rescue headquarters.

Proceeds from Puppgrams help to support Brother Wolf’s work on behalf of animals in need. In January 2020 alone, Brother Wolf transferred in 131 cats and dogs from under-resourced shelters around Western NC, adopted out 177 animals into loving homes, and spayed/neutered 401 animals on their mobile spay/neuter clinic.
