Rock Out For Kids! Music Festival on Saturday, Sept. 7

Guidon Brewing Co. is hosting the Rock Out for Kids festival on Saturday, Sept. 7! The family friendly music festival will benefit the Helping Hand Developmental Center.

Rock Out for Kids will start at 12 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and they will be sold at the door or online at facebook.com/hh4kids.

In addition to live music from 8 bands, there will be plenty of fun activities for kids – a bounce house slide, gigantic Connect 4, face painting, and more. There will be a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Food will be available for purchase at Doc Brown’s BBQ food truck. Plus, Guidon Brewing Co. is donating $1 for every pint purchased.

The band line-up includes:

12:00 pm – Wesley Ganey
1:15 pm – Laura Laughter and Tim Levene
2:30 pm – Gilliam Gals
3:45 pm – Further to Fly
5:00 pm – Action Figures
6:00 pm – Jenny Arch and Friends

Rock Out for Kids is part of Helping Hand’s ongoing building campaign. Helping Hand is a non-profit preschool program in Henderson County for children, ages 2-5, with and without special needs.  They will be moving to Grace Blue Ridge Church, but need to renovate an unfinished section of the church. The total amount to raise is $260,000 and they are half way there.
