Young Professionals of Henderson County Hosts Social on February 12

The Young Professionals of Henderson County (YPHC) is hosting a February pop-up and social event on Tuesday, February 12 at 5:30 pm. The YPHC’s pop-ups offer a chance for young professionals to build professional and interpersonal skills with a laid-back social mixed in.

Networking seems to be the cornerstone for many work-related events. Whether you’re just entering the workforce or you’re mid-career, the ability to successfully network can make all the difference in growing your career or business. Now – what if someone were to tell you that what you thought was successful networking was wrong? Let’s learn how to make lasting connections and move past reciting our elevator speeches, to do business and engage in our community at a more meaningful level.

This month, the YPHC pop-up will focus on “Rethinking Networking” with some fun, engaging activities at The Wine Cellar at Wine & Sage Gourmet. The meeting will kick-off and end with open networking to allow everyone to arrive before beginning the skills portion. Participation is limited to those under 40. Due to the capacity of the host location, YPHC can only accept 35 registrations, so please register via email to be added to the list.
