The Rhythm & Brews crew is excited to continue Hendersonville’s premier annual concert experience! Whatever your musical tastes, Rhythm & Brews is sure to put a smile on your face and broaden your musical horizons.
Running through September, these free outdoor shows will ramp up the fun in downtown Hendersonville on the 3rd Thursday of each month. In 2018 that means you need to remember August 16th, and September 20th, and October 11th (rescheduled from May 17th). The shows will feature local singer songwriters and opening acts at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm with headliners performing from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The Company Stores headlines the August 16th concert with openers Hustle Souls and Laura Laughter & Tim Levene. The Company Stores is a Hill Hop band from Charleston, WV, that smoothly blends elements of many genres of southern music. They pull inspiration from styles such as Appalachian folk, Delta Blues, Rock, Jam Band, and even Hip Hop, then layer in their own modern styles and rhythms. Vocalist Casey Litz’s sultry and soulful voice captivates the audience, while the band lays down danceable grooves between dynamic builds.
2018 Concert Series Schedule
Located on Main Street between Caswell and Allen Streets, the shows will once again feature some great local brews alongside the best concert line-up in Henderson County. Featured drinks will include the craft brew styling of Henderson County’s own Sierra Nevada and Southern Appalachian Breweries and the delectable grape creations of Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards. And for cider lovers out there, Flat Rock Ciderworks and Bold Rock Cider both plan to return to the event in 2018!
The Hands On! Family Zone, a kid friendly destination within the show, and the Pardee misting tent will once again round out an entertainment experience designed for the whole family!
Inclement weather policy is to delay each act by 30 minutes before moving onto the next act. If headline act is unable to perform by 8:00 pm the show will be canceled. Follow the weather decisions on the event’s Facebook page.
