22nd Annual Chalk Art Festival

“Chalk It Up!” is a chalk-art festival featuring over one hundred artists drawing on seven blocks of Main Street in downtown Hendersonville. This year’s festival is scheduled to take place on July 14th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

All artists – professionals and novices – are given free chalk and assigned sidewalk space and encouraged to “Draw your dreams on Main!” The chalk art lasts until the next rain.

Narnia Studios, an eclectic downtown Hendersonville shop owned by Barbara Hughes, produces the annual “Chalk It Up!” chalk-art festival. Artists will pick up their free chalk and sidewalk space assignment at Narnia Studios, located at 315 North Main Street.

The festival is slated to begin at 9:00 am on July 14th, although artists may start as soon as 8:30 am if they are so inclined. Rain dates are scheduled for July 21st and July 28th if needed.

Registration is currently open, however space is limited to the first 150 registrants, so please sign up today. Visit www.narniastudios.com for additional information.
