ArtScape 2018

ArtScape 2018 is an outdoor exhibit of art on banners lining Hendersonville’s downtown streets and 7th Avenue Historic District. Attendees at the event can stroll between the venues and view art banners along the way.

Artwork selected by a jury process has been reproduced on fifty banners that hang from light posts on Hendersonville’s Main Street, side streets, and Historic Seventh Avenue throughout 2018. The project’s objective is to create an outdoor gallery experience making Hendersonville an exciting and unique art destination.

Led by Hendersonville artist Costanza Knight, the ArtScape Hendersonville committee formed as a result of a collaboration between the Art League of Henderson County, the Arts Council of Henderson County, and Downtown Hendersonville, Inc. ArtScape Hendersonville received funding from the Community Foundation of Henderson County and Henderson County Tourism Development Authority.
