Clue:  If you loved the movie, are an aficionado of the board game, or if you just enjoy the unfurling of a great whodunit – you’ll kill to be among the first to see the official stage adaptation of this pop culture favorite before it embarks on a national tour. Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie adaptation and the classic Hasbro board game, CLUE is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. A zany evening of slapstick, slamming doors and some of the funniest one-liners in movie history, CLUE will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches.

The Love List:  A comedy by Norm Foster (The Affections of May). In this side-splitting and thought-provoking new comedy, Leon and Bill concoct a list of attributes of the ideal woman – the top ten best qualities in a mate. When this allegedly “Ideal Woman” actually arrives on the scene the men quickly learn that their list could use a few revisions. Be careful what you wish for – especially in choosing a mate. This old adage leads to hilarious results in Foster’s sparkling com—ic hit.

Always a Bridesmaid: From the writing team behind last year’s smash sensation The Dixie Swim Club. In this rollicking comedy, four friends have sworn to keep the promise they made on the night of their Senior Prom: to be in each other’s weddings, and hilarity ensues. If you’ve ever elbowed a stranger to catch a bride’s bouquet or have been forced to wear the world’s ugliest bridesmaid dress, this deliriously funny play by Jones Hope Wooten is definitely for you…and your dearly beloved.

The Glass Menagerie:  25 years ago, Flat Rock Playhouse debuted an exciting new program, Project Playhouse, with specially priced matinees for local students as well as regular evening performances for our patrons. The play was Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie, a drama of great tenderness, charm and beauty and one of the most famous plays of the modern theatre.

Pickin’ and a Grinnin’: A musical romp through the cornfields with a jug of moonshine in hand. Taking inspiration from classic variety shows of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, this original production will feature some of our favorite Flat Rock Playhouse singer/musicians and is guaranteed to be a foot stomping, hand clapping good time for the whole family. Howdyyyy!
