March Maker Projects include:

March 1- Seussical Letters
“The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go”;
in honor of Dr. Suess’s birthday, Hands On!
will be helping our young makers learn how to create a letter out of recycled wax!

March 6 & 8- Animal Helpers
March marks the beginning of spring,
and along with plants and flowers,
animals in North Carolina will be waking up as well! Our Animal Helpers
workshop will combine three mini-projects, each designed to help native animals.

March 13 & 15- Leprechaun Trap
Hands On! is getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day
as we plan our Leprechaun Trap! We invite our young makers
to the Discovery Room to help us with this amazing contraption.

March 20 & 22- Seed Paper
Spring is upon us, and the best way to celebrate
is to recycle AND plant flowers, at the same time!
How can you do this? By making seed paper, which is recycled paper with seeds embedded in the paper.

March 27 & 29- Kinetic Sculptures
Enjoy the wind and warm temperatures with your own hand made, wind powered sculpture! Combine art and mechanics by making your own unique piece and test it using our fans in the Discovery Room.

The mission of Hands On! Children's Museum is to provide “hands on”
educational experiences and science programs that stimulate
the imagination and motivate learning in a fun, safe environment.
