The City of Hendersonville has decided to extend the mulch giveaway program due to continued interest from the public as well as mulch being available. The Public Works Department will extend the mulch giveaway for an additional two weeks this month. The last day for mulch giveaway will now be May 26th, Thursdays and Fridays from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon. The location is at the former Waste Water Treatment Plant located at 80 Balfour Rd. (There is no longer any leaf compost available)
