Our guests will be treated to an Oscar-like evening of awards and fashion inspired by a love for our local environment.

Join Asheville GreenWorks on Saturday, April 27 @ 6-9PM at the Doubletree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore for an evening of fashion, performing arts, and community celebration with a focus on environmental sustainability. Helen Chickering (BPR) and Blake Butler (adapt PR) will MC this very special fundraising event.

Guests will be treated to performances by Asheville Contemporary Dance Theatre, a special “Eco Readers” Kid’s Runway Strut, and a recycled fashion show by local and regional designers set amidst a fantastical “Truffula Tree” forest inspired by Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.

Keynote speaker Crystal Dreisbach of Don’t Waste Durham will share her experience implementing “Green To Go,” an innovative reusable solution to styrofoam take-out containers in Durham, NC.

We will also highlight the inspiring & diverse stories of our 2019 Environmental Excellence Award winners including:
