37th Annual Annual Asheville Quilt Show

The 37th Annual Asheville Quilt Show runs Friday September 27th through Sunday September 29th, featuring 350+ quilts, vendors, nationally known local quilter Georgia Bonesteel.

Location: Davis Event Center at the WNC Ag Center. Admission $7.

Hours: Friday/Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 4:30 pm.

Food available on site. Free Parking. Handicap Accessible.

Folk Art Center

The Center is the home of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, representing craft artists from Southern Appalachia. The Allanstand Craft Shop carries the work of over 300 of these guild members. Upstairs the Folk Art Center offers a gallery which showcases changing exhibits of regional and national scope. Daily craft demonstrations April-December. Open daily 9am-6pm, Apr.-Dec.; 9am-5pm Jan.-Mar. Admission is free.
