The Appalachian Institute for Creative Learning's Summer Enrichment Camp
Since 1982, AICL has had kids laughing while they learn, with a range of arts and academic classes to challenge their young minds. Also included: lifelong friends. TrailRidge Mountain Camp
Known to some as the "world's smallest camp." Separate boys and girls travel camps offering programs from one to five weeks in length. Enrollment for each session is limited to 16 campers. This summer: Roan Mountain Base Camp; Pisgah Forest Base Camp; French Broad Canoe Adventure; and a four-day Appalachian Trail Backpacking and Rafting expedition. Camp High Rocks
Traditional summer camp for boys, with an emphasis on outdoor adventure. Activities include kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, horse back riding, mountain biking, and camping. Contact Hank Birdsong at 1-828-885-2153. > details...

JC Martial Arts
