Park Ridge Medical Associates proudly welcomes Dr. Meredith Richmond, a board certified Geriatrician and Family Practitioner. Dr. Richmond will be joining Drs. Robert Bailey, Clara Kim, James Thompson, Lorena Wade and Jennifer Wilhelm in practice at Park Ridge Health at Laurel Park (formerly Laurel Park Medical Center) located at 1881 Pisgah Drive in Laurel Park and can be contacted by calling (828) 697-4336. Dr. Richmond will focus on health, wellness and chronic disease management and prevention for women age 65 and older. She is accepting new patients. Dr. Richmond earned her bachelor�s degree from the University of Mississippi and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. Dr. Richmond completed fellowships in Women�s Health and Geriatric Medicine at East Carolina University. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine and has practiced for more than 20 years. Dr. Richmond is dedicated to improving the health, independence and quality of life for older women. She has the expertise to manage common health concerns that are often associated with the aging process such as urinary incontinence, osteoporosis, memory problems and side effects caused by multiple medications.
