Free Kindle Books and Class Offered by Henderson County Public Library

Did you get a new Kindle for Christmas – or perhaps a Nook, iPad or smart phone? Don’t forget that your Henderson County Public Library card gives you access to thousands of eBooks and audio books compatible with most devices. Visit the Downloadable Titles page on the library website for step by step instructions and for access to the NC Digital Library collection: www.henderson.lib.nc.us/digital_media.html.

Consider attending one of the regularly scheduled Kindle or Nook demonstrations at the library. Call for the date and time, 697-4725, or check the schedule on the web at: www.henderson.lib.nc.us/computer_classes.html.

Sign up for the Downloadable Titles newsletter to keep up with the new digital titles (both eBooks and audio books) being added to the library’s collection. You can view the current list at http://bit.ly/sZo0DG. To receive the list in the form of a monthly email alert, sign up at http://library.booksite.com/6800/signup/?list=NLSGN.
