The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce invites you to a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new ownership by Brenda and Steve Merrefield of The Inn on Church Street, 201 3rd Ave West in Hendersonville. Festivities are scheduled for 5:00- 7:00 PM on September 12.
The Inn on Church Street is a historic in-town inn. With 21 individually decorated rooms and an excellent restaurant, the inn is a comfortable retreat for out-of-town guests and a choice restaurant for locals and guests alike. The Inn was built in 1919-1921 as a hotel to serve visitors to the growing popularity of Hendersonville. In 2006 Brenda and Steve Merrefield purchased the Inn. As new owners, they intend to build on the excellent reputation developed over its five-year history. Brenda and Steve are pleased to have retained the Inn Manager, Michelle Briggs and the Executive Chef, Mike Atkinson as well as the balance of the staff.
