Downtown Hendersonville’s Trick or Treat Street 2015

Fall in the mountains is a special time of year filled with a variety of fantastic family traditions and downtown Hendersonville is no exception.

The district will once again be hosting the annual Hendersonville Trick or Treat Street celebration! Each year downtown merchants and residents combine to make Main Street the community destination for a fun and safe trick or treating experience.

The 2015 event will be presented for the second year in a row by Ingles Markets who will be joining us to bring you the costume contest and monster mash DJ party. Join us in the 400 block of Main Street between 4th and 5th Avenues and check out the original Elmer Ingle delivery truck and register for our family friendly costume contest!

Trick or Treating with downtown merchants kicks off at 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 31st while registration for the costume contest will be available beginning at 4:30 pm! The contest judging, which includes age categories for infants to 3 yrs, 4 to 7 yrs, 8 to 11 yrs, 12 to 15 yrs, 16 plus and Family/Group Contestants, will start at 5:45 pm with the youngest age group and go from there. Celebrity judges will choose top contestants from each category to participate in a Sid the Surf led voice vote by the crowd for first place. Crowd favorites will receive a downtown prize pack. At the conclusion of the contest DJ Sid the Surf will be entertaining the crowd until 7:30 pm with his brand of Monster Mash mayhem!

We hope you’ll join us for a ghoulish good time in Historic Downtown Hendersonville, Saturday October 31st, 2015; costume contest registration begins @ 4:30 pm while trick or treating with downtown merchants begins @ 5:00 pm. The Monster Mash dance party commences at the conclusion of the contest and will run through 7:30 pm. Trick or Treating takes place along Main Street from Allen to 6th Avenue, while the costume contest and Monster Mash are located in the 400 block of Main Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues.
