The Park at Flat Rock invites you to join naturalist Fred Roane as he reveals Mother Nature’s secrets in our own back yard.
Fred will conduct a guided tour of the park the first Saturday of each month at 9:00 am. The tour will run about two hours, during which Fred will point out different forms of wildlife that call the park home.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, a hat, sun screen, a camera, and maybe a notebook. Fred will be there rain or shine.
This activitiy is open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry, no pets. Meet in the parking lot near the walkway to the welcome center.
