Apprentice actors from Flat Rock Playhouse will visit the Carl Sandburg amphitheater through August 7th for a lively thirty minutes of poetry in action.
Performances are scheduled for July 29th, July 31st, August 5th, and August 7th from 10:15 am to 10:45 am.
Poetry is a journey through the American experience of love, children, nature and social activism as found throughout Sandburg’s collections of poetry and prose.
The show is entertaining for all ages with plenty of laughs from silly poems about bugs, thumbs and snakes. Performances are free and open to the public. Bench seating is provided in the amphitheater.
