Music On Main Street presents an outstanding concert lineup every Friday evening through August 14th at the Visitors Information Center, located at 201 South Main Street in Hendersonville, NC.
Music On Main Street showcases a diverse lineup of musical talents, from jazz, pop, oldies, rock, blues, gospel to contemporary music. Put on your dancing shoes and head to Music On Main Street for some good toe tapping music, where there is a dance area in front of the stage.
The upcoming July 3rd event will feature Wishful Thinkin’ and a classic car show. Formed at the end of the last century, Wishful Thinkin’ has developed through a love of performing good music, enjoying strong friendships and having a great time. It wouldn’t be rock ‘n roll (we do like it) if personnel didn’t change now and then (less frequently than Simon’s shirts), so singers and guitarists have come and then gone, some to enjoy motherhood, others to pursue different musical dreams. But the core of the band rocks solidly on and our current line-up is as strong, vibrant, lively and full of harmonies as ever.
The concerts, as always, are free.
Bring a chair and enjoy a summertime evening of live entertainment from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Chairs are allowed in the audience seating area (parking lot) after 5:30.
Please leave your pets comfortably at home, Hendersonville City ordinance prohibits animals in the event area. Admission is free. No alcoholic beverages allowed.
