Mark Saturday, June 6th, on your calendar for the annual Celebrate Flat Rock Ice Cream Social.
Festivities start at noon and will last until 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at The Village of Flat Rock, located at 110 Village Center Dr, Flat Rock, Henderson County.
There will be lots of ice cream and music, along with Caasi and the Clowns of Glory and baby goats from Carl Sandburg!
The Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit plans to put on a demonstration of their specially trained canines, and The Book Exchange will have a half-priced sale on all used books from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Come celebrate summer! Seating is limited. Please bring chairs, and leave all pets at home.
The social will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 7th if the June 6th event is rained out.
