Henderson County Public Schools Launches New Tool

Henderson County Public Schools has launched a new electronic flyer communication tool, Peachjar!

As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery. This “green” initiative will save our schools tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. On top of that, posting school flyers in this electronic backpack removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.

Now, instead of fishing for crumpled papers in kids’ backpacks, parents will receive e-flyers directly in their email inbox. As before with the hard copies, these e-flyers will be coming from entities within the schools (parent teacher organizations, athletic clubs, teachers) and community partners (educational enrichment providers, athletic clubs, etc.).

Parents will also be able to view school-approved e-flyers by clicking the Peachjar button on school website homepages.

To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, we suggest you add “[email protected]” to your email contacts. When you receive your first e-flyer, be sure to click “always display images.”

If you did not provide your email address and would like to receive Peachjar e-flyers, let your school office know to add your email address to the district contact form.
