The 2014 Golden Retriever Nationals takes place from October 24th to November 1st in Western North Carolina.
The leaves will be at their peak color in brilliant shades of gold, just like our Goldens. The rainy season will be over and blue, sunny skies will abound with cool temperatures.
Asheville and Hendersonville offer an eclectic mix of activities and restaurants. Whether your interest is communing with nature in one of the national forests or perusing art galleries, there is something for everyone. The restaurants offer the same eclectic mix, from fine dining to the casual cafe. The cities are also among the most dog-friendly cities on the East Coast. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in most restaurants where there is outside seating.
