The Hope Chest for Women is hosting its second annual fashion show and fall garden party called, Here’s Hope 2014, at the Omni Grove Park Inn on September 13th, 2014.
The event will take place in the Grand Vanderbilt Ballroom at the Omni Grove Park Inn from 11 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. Join us for the luncheon and fashion show featuring cancer survivors, live entertainment, silent auction, and raffle, to benefit, the Hope Chest for Women. Since 2003, The Hope Chest for Women has awarded over $200,000.00 in assistance and helped an estimated 1000 women in the WNC community
We were founded to relieve some of the burden created by the cost of breast or gynecological cancer treatment. We need community help to raise money for financial assistance for women in all 22 counties of Western North Carolina living with breast or gynecological cancers. “Eliminating financial barriers to enable women to continue treatment can simply equal providing gas money to get to appointments or medical bill assistance for some clients”, stated Sara Shuster, Executive Director, of the Hope Chest for Women.
All money raised will stay in our community to support women living across WNC. We give over $30,000 annually and assist between 125-150 women with breast or gynecological cancer each year by giving hope and assisting with individualized financial needs. Requests for assistance are raising now that we serve 22 counties in Western North Carolina. “It’s truly a blessing to know that people donate to something like this to help others. It’s a wonderful gift for those who are faced with these tough choices in this situation,” one client said.
